Terms of use

Terms of Use

These terms set expectations for using Believers Growth Academy responsibly, including account access, training content, certificates, and acceptable behaviour.

This page is written for clarity and good UK practice. It should be reviewed by the church leadership and, where needed, a qualified legal or safeguarding adviser before formal adoption.

1. Purpose of the Academy

Believers Growth Academy exists to help believers grow, receive support, lead, and go through structured Christian training. The platform supports personal discipleship, church training, trainer oversight, certificates, and accountable administration.

The academy is not a substitute for pastoral care, counselling, legal advice, medical advice, safeguarding advice, or emergency support. Serious concerns should be referred to appropriate church leaders or professional authorities.

2. Accounts and Roles

Users must use accurate account information and only access the role they are approved to use. Student, Trainer, and Admin access are separate.

Trainer access requires authorisation. Admin access is private, approval-only, and must not be shared. Anyone attempting to bypass role controls may have access removed.

Users are responsible for keeping sign-in details and access codes confidential and must report suspected misuse promptly.

3. Acceptable Use

Users must treat others with respect, avoid abusive or misleading behaviour, and use the academy only for legitimate training, discipleship, administration, and church-approved purposes.

Users must not upload harmful files, unlawful content, private information about others without authority, offensive material, or anything that infringes copyright or confidentiality.

Users must not attempt to access another person's records, interfere with the platform, scrape data, share restricted materials, or misuse certificates.

4. Training Content and Certificates

Course materials are provided for Christian training and discipleship. Completion checks, reflections, trainer notes, and certificates should be used honestly.

A certificate confirms completion of the relevant academy stage within the platform. It does not automatically appoint a person to ministry, leadership, employment, or safeguarding-sensitive work.

The Kingdom Chapel may update, withdraw, or revise courses, stages, certificates, trainer notes, or programme requirements where needed.

5. Intellectual Property

The website, academy structure, course wording, certificate design, logos, and training materials are owned by The Kingdom Chapel or used with permission unless stated otherwise.

Users may use course materials for personal learning or approved church training. Materials must not be copied, sold, republished, or redistributed outside authorised academy use without permission.

6. Availability and Changes

The academy aims to provide a reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, hosting providers, internet issues, software updates, or security incidents.

The Kingdom Chapel may update these terms, improve platform features, change access rules, or correct errors. Important changes should be communicated where appropriate.

7. Suspension or Removal

Access may be suspended or removed where there is misuse, safeguarding concern, breach of confidentiality, inaccurate account information, or a risk to learners, the church, or the platform.

Administrative decisions should be recorded appropriately and reviewed by authorised church leadership where the matter is serious.
